I found a set of aluminum rims for '02 and up for forty dollars each. Could I run them with spacers? Anyone ever tried?

i dunno if the bolt pattern is the same on them i guess i would look it up before purchase. i would look up tire kits in Ronnie's and see if the 02 and the 00 rim pattern is the same. i don't think you would need spacers all that would do is put added stress on the machine even though it would make the stance wider which would be nice.

Are your rims aluminum or steel?

Aluminum aftermarket ones should work but the stock steel ones wouldn't due to wheel to brake caliper clearance issues w/o a spacer. As far as offset and lug spacing, they are the same. The only thing you may find is some clearance issues with the circle on the end of the hub being a extremely tight fit to the hub hole of the rim. I know the ITP rims will fit fine.
