Default Fuel mileage 400 Auto

Was wondering if anyone has a 400 AC and what kind of fuel mileage can be expected? I know they are a heavy machine. Picking mine up "400 auto" today.

With my eiger (same engine) I can get about 25 to 30 with the manual. I think that AC put lower gears in the 400 for the '07's not sure on the '06's but I would guess about 25 depending how you ride it and what were you ride it. Hope this helps.

With my 2003 stock 400I auto, I get about 70-75 per tank driving about 30-45 mph, 2 wd, and mostly on dirt/gravel roads.

The auto gets a lot worse mileage than the manual does. I've seen auto get as bad as 10 mpg (we did a rejet on it as it was super rich), normally about 15 mpg. My manual has gotten as high as 25 mpg on flat trails with a 20 to 25 mph average and as little as 15 mpg on a climb from just above sea level to 7000 feet. I average about 20 mpg (about half what my 2001 AC 250 2X4 gets with my wife riding it).
