After the advice here, I decided on the AC500 camo, over the Suzuki Vinson.....I was at the dealer yesterday, and left even more confused. I can get the 500 for $5900, but there is a black H1 LE for $6100. I rode them both, and the H1 definately has more zip, along with front and rear bumpers, and fancy rims. As dumb as this may sound, I really love the camo look.......would I be crazy to go with the 500??? My primary use is hunting and icefishing, with some lower scale trail riding mixed in. I wanted to pick one of these up today, but I just can't make up my mind. Like I said, I love the camo, and I'm sure the 500 would be plenty powerful, but for $200 bucks should I forget about the color, and get the bigger machine??

Forget the color and get the H1, IMO!!

 

I'd have to say H1 too, even with camo, its not like you can actually hide the atv. The bumpers alone are worth the $200.

 

Definately go H1 then. You could always throw a camo kit on it later if you HAD to.

 

How does one go about getting a "camo kit"?? Also, any info on the price?

 

I have never purchased one, but I have seen several different types. There are graffics style stickers and there are also a cloth/cover type that are applied more like a car bra. No clue on price though.

200 dollar difference? deffinately go with the 650 H1. this is one of those situations where you spend a little and get ALOT. if you get the 500 i am guessing later on down the road you are gonna look back and say dang i wish i would have gotten the 650 i wish i had more power. but thats me if you don't feel you would benefit at all from the more power and like the camo that much more then get the 500. both are good machines that i feel would work great for you.

 

i just saw a sticker kit from camoclad, for around 150 bucks you can get a permanent sticker kit garanteed for 4 yrs. or not permanent for a little more. im lookin into that for my 500 just to try it out. id go with the h1 with no hesitation.
