Does Dial-A-Jet really work?
Thinking about installing a Dial-A-Jet on my AC 650 H1. I am going to ride anywhere in altitude at 2,000 -10,000 feet. I really don't want to rejet. It sounds like a pain in the neck. I've been told that Cats will lose hp and perform not as well at altitudes over 6,000 ft. Is this true? Do I need a Dial-A-Jet?Do they work?

The instructions give you base adjustments for a number of altitudes, but you can fine tune it for your engine by twicking the dial a little and then make your own list for your motor. I know a guy that has 500 foot notes if he wants, but he usually just check his GPS for altitude and turns the dial and goes. If he climbs more than 2000/2500 feet he will readjust. As his dial is under the seat and easy to reach with the seat off he has the best of jet adjustment deals.
