You are right about the lack of a winch.

Forget the gun boot. Mount a 50cal. to the front rack! Other riders will be so envious of your 50cal. that they will not notice you do not have a winch!

If you look close I do have a 50cal strapped to the front! A 50cal muzzeloader [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
To answer your question CATSKINNER, I LOVE IT!! This thing is like a mountain goat!
I have nevr ridden an ATV before that will climb like this one. The thing I'm worried
about with the warranty is tapping into the wires. I've asked for a gorilla winch for
christmas. Looks like it has good reviews from people that own them and no more
than I would use it, I hate to pay allot for one.

After reading through a few posts I found the someone had used a winch from harbor freight. I won't
be using one much and the most of that will be after I get a plow later on so I wonder if this one would be
any good? Winch

I didn't use that one, but I used the Harbor Freight $50 2000# one (they didn't have that on then) on my 2001 250. It has works fine and has given me no problems. I did have to fab a few things to make it work, but it does and well.
