tires

In my opinion, its not the tires, its the aluminum rims. Some of them are just to weak to do any rough riding on, as the tend to bend ALOT easier than steel, allowing leaks. I think they have some stronger aftermarket aluminum rims, but nothing that will come stock on a machine

If you get a better tire with a stiffer sidewall your problems will be gone. I recommend
1 Outlaw MST's
2 Mudlight XTR's
3 ITP 589's
4 Swamplites

sounds like the carlisles work with steel rims. My alum rims are not damaged.
So I wonder if the problem is how the alum rims react to temp changes.
Anyone running the alum rims with other tires and having problems?
I just hate to buy new tires when the rims are the problem....

The Carlise have bad and weak sidewalls. If you switch to a good tire it will hold air. Alluminium rims are 100 times better then steal imo. You get the tires you won't be disappointed.

I got carliles on the front of my rancher , and have stock rims that are damn near square(exagerated, but there pretty jacked up) and they ride pretty good i think! The goodyears hondas put on theres are the worst pos i have rode on! Any ways like i said i think these carliles are the best stock tire out of all the names.(stock)IMO

my tires were leaking at the bead on my 04 500 honda with alum rims and i took it to my local tire shop and they cleaned the rim and tire then put this type of glue ( bead sealer) around the bead and rim then blew up the tire and it never leaked after that.
but that was with my mud lites. i only had my stock tires only for 100 miles then i put the mud lites on because i never liked the way the honda handled with the stockers so thats why i got rid of them.
i had gators on my 03 500 cat and i loved them.
i put the gators on my cat about a month after i got it.
with the gators it was like a compleatly differant machine.
if you dont want to change the tires right now try takeing it to your tire shop and see if they can put some bead sealer on them and see if that works.
