Trailer is a home done job that tracks identical to the A/C, about 8" clearance at the axle. Your definately cutting some bigger stuff than myself w/ your husky. I'm only toting a couple 346XP's w/ 18" bars.
My cutting and hauling is for personal use, home/barn w/ an outdoor wood boiler.

For you guys that are hauling a lot of wood, do you see any problems with the A/C IRS? Does it cause your bike to squat real bad and handle poorly? I really want an A/C but one of the dealers I spoke with told me I would be better off with a solid axle for hauling, such as a Kawasaki. What has been you experience?

Fred.

My 400TRV does squat quite a bit w/ a good load, alot depends on trailer balance / tongue balance etc...
I've adjusted my rear shocks stiff as possible, considering replacing rears w/ a set from highlifter (heavy duty).
The short distance i haul the wood hasn't been an issue, can't see how any would "handle" real well when you have taken all the weight off the front tires.
I think the TRV w/ longer wheelbase does better than a shorter wb 1 up quad. My 300 Trail Boss would just flip over if i tried to haul the same loads w/ it.

I have a 2007 650 H1 TRV. I have had it for about 4 months. I just got the 1st tuneup done on it. It had some minor problems. It does have front lockers. My brother inlaws both have the 2006 650H1. The oil return line blew off from the motor side. Besides that they are both very happy with there units. I find it has good handling, even when you have the second person on it.

The stearing is stiff with the front lockers on, but this will be few and far between.

I do have about 300 KM on the quad now.

Ask me again in about 4 months.

Larry
