Read several bad reviews on the hi at powersports network, and handling on the 700 was in a online review from atv magizine. I know my 400 handles good but it doesnt run near as fast as those two.

The 2005 H1's had some head gasket issues (only a small percentage) and that is about it. I guess another thing is that people with 29.5" tires and lifts are breaking the bevel gears on some of these things too. Again it is a small amount, but I have read about it more then once.
Other then that these things are as solid as they come. That said, I would get the 700 for the EFI.

I have a 2007 TRV H1. Minor o-ring leaks when i took it in for its 1st tuneup. Covered under warranty. Very pleased with it. it has about 300 KM on it now. No probles with the trans, even when we went into deep water.
