Default H1 or 700 efi

ok well even after buying a house i did some figuring. i got a guy at work that wants to purchase my 650 from me. if i sell my zr i will have roughly around 7000 dollars to purchase an atv. ok the 700 efi would be sahweet in the winter time and well any time actually i guess have they had any troubles with the efi on them? and what happens if a person drowns it out by accident would it short out the efi system or are they pretty good that way? the 650 h1 i have heard lots of good things about them i mean i guess catterman drown his out even and it still ran good up until the day he sold it . i want a good atv that has horsepower so which one has more horsepower and at what range? can you make the 700 efi do wheelies? i heard there is a lag right when you hit the throttle can you fix that with anything? wheelies are kinda important because well everyone around here can't do them on their heavy polaris's and they watch me in awwwww on my 650 so well any info is appreciated.

Why dont you find a left over 2006 650V2? You wont have to deal with the belt probs, as they changed the gearing for 2006. At any rate, Catterman liked his H1, but im almost 100% sure if he would of had the choice then, he would have got the 700 just for the efi. I guess for me, i havnt had any cold weather starting or running problems, except for a dead battery With that said, i dont think i would pick any different now than i did then. Im VERY pleased with the V2

v2 i have had excellent luck with the v2 and for that reason i am gonna continue riding cat. as for the belt issues i had with it i wanna move on from the v2 market. the motor was bulletproof and had great horsepower with no vibration but the tranny wasn't what i liked. i had to throw that in with catterman to pick on him a lil is all, no offense meant. i think the ole lady would want me to get the prowler but the funds just won't be there so i said it is between the h1 and the 700 efi. and it seems that both machines have been great. whats the msrp on both machines?

Go for the 700 EFI That will be my next ATV. The H1 was very nice and all, but I HATE carbs. If you drowned out a EFI machine it is no different then a carb one, as both have CDI boxes. Yes, the 700 does have a lag but for $300 you can get a new CDI that will fix that, and give you more toruqe then you know what to do with However, if Cat were to put EFI on the H1 I would get that machine. It has lots of useable power. Good luck

Catterman; At what temp was it to cold to trust your H1 to start. I have a 06 been starting fine, but hate to get 6 miles out on millacs and find out I left it sit out too long and in too cold. Thanks in advance

She always started, however if I let is sit for a month (or more) then that is when I had a problem. I think too the battery was at fault, as they seem to come low on water from the dealer. So, if you just make sure you battery water level is fine I am sure she will start for you, espicially on your way back. Good luck

i think i am gonna go with the 700 efi and well i guess this all depends on if i can sell my snowcat or not. and i know you are giving me crap v2 thats what we are all supposed to do and well for the 500 dollars i think i would like the extra 50 cc's and deffinately the efi. now the next thing is to find a decent arctic cat dealer cause all the ones here are well how to put it they suck monkeybutt.
