I was thinking of getting a winch for my ATV. I saw one rated at 2000lbs at harbor frieght and was think about it. I would like to get your opinion on it. any comments bad or good appreaciated

 

Well i have had the Warn 3.0 ci and love it you can't go wrong with the tried and true.
sorry can't say anything for the harbor freight.

I have the Harbor Freight 2000 pounder on my 2001 AC 250 and it works fine. You will need to do some fab work to make it work but nothing anyone with a little common sense can't figure out (the wiring was the hardest part and it wasn't a major challenge. That said, I have the Warn 2500# winch on my 2005 AC 400 and it was a simpler install, but it doesn't work any better than the 2000# one.
