Another satisfied 400 owner. Gee the numbers just keep going up and up. I think for all around general purpose plus work that the 400-500 class is about right. I found out a long time ago that too much power is worst than not enough. The 400 is not a race machine or a dune machine, but as a utility machine it fills the bill quite adequately. I ride with some nice people that have 600-700 etc, and they brag them up until I take them with me into the woods and some unpleasant places, and they come out with their heads hanging low and their tail between their legs.
