Default Oil filter for 07 Prowler

Does anyone know a Fram or Wix number for the oil filter for the 07 Prowler?

Also does the engine have any sort or wet clutch?

I think that almost all AC's use the same filter. If so I use a Fram that I just referenced from the book in the store (VIP) or any automotive store should have. I think the part was something like HFX-6018, I know it ended with '18' - lol

Call your AC dealer and get the filter part number for the Prowler, a 400, 500, and 650... if you see that they are all the same then in a automotive store if they have a listing for say a 400, then you know it will work ok...

I know the Prowler filter is different than the 400 and 500. I have a Prowler and a Suzuki Vinson and Eiger. The Vinson and Eiger use the same filter as the Arctic Cat 400/500 and they are different than the Prowler. The Prowler filter is longer and skinnier.
I think most all CVT machines now have a wet centrifugal clutch that engages the belt pully.

just get the number from the filter on your prowler or from your dealer and go to Napa auto parts they can cross reference the filter for you , i've read a few post's on this from other member's who have done the same thing with good results ; it's worth a try anyway ! williebee
