Hey Cobra1993, wouldn't you like to have a nice 02 400fis really cheap, has less than 1,000 miles on it with brand new 'Wing' Tires, new drop rack and the works. It is in the 'Mid-Night Sell, Swap or Steal' guide book. I have the details and can give you directions. The guy that has it is a 'Pro-Rider' so you know it has been well taken care of... lol

The 454 has more power than my 400 and that can scare the 'Be Jesus' out of me sometimes.

I cant answer that question for you, but you would think that you can look the model up on the computer and get the specs

I had a 98 500 Man. which is almost Identical to the 454 and I had absolutly no problems with it in 4200 miles before I sold it to a friend. They have great power but are very low geared and only top out at about 45-50 mph. They do not have the plush ride that a FIS model has but the "ACT" suspension articulates extremely well. They have a great "Low center of gavity" and are very reliable.
Great work horse but a just a "OK" trail machine.
