Brooker,

Was the oil you used regular auto oil or was it oil designed especially for "wet clutch" engine? I believe you do not want any additives that reduce friction or your clutch will slip.

Default AC 2000 300 4X4

I used what it calls for ...10W40 4 stroke oil. I didn't use synthetic. It was a clutch adjustment that was needed. Long story short....the previous owner had a backyard mechanic try and fix a broken secondary transfer gear, he remove the engine(which he didn't have to do) then he had to give the transmisson to someone else to replace the gear. Then this guy put the motor and other parts back together. I think between both guys they were able to mess up the clutch settings. I have it working great now. I am still replacing parts however. I ordered a Kimpex muffler today and also a starter relay which has been acting up. Hopefully soon I'll have it running smoothly.
