Default Would you recomend a DVX 400?

I have a cat 400 utility, and im looking at buying a DVX 400, but i would first like to know, would you recomend it? i have people telling me they arnt that great, and they are slow, and i have other saying its a great atv... so could any, owners, or riders tell me if its worth it, and somethings about it, like control, speed, how smooth it is, etc, Please and Thanks guys!

It is a good all around machine. A little faster than a 400ex, not as fast as the 450's. Its a good reliable machine.

Ah, alright, i heard it does 130 from one person and 105 from another, wich, for off roading, thats fast, but i dontk now i really like them thouhg

Ok man, I dont know who is pulling your chain but no atv will do 105 let alone 130. The AC will do about 70-72 thats it. My "Death Trap" would probably do 130 but you would have to be crazy to try it. A quad will become highly unstable at about 100mph. My motor is out of a honda 929 crotch rocket that has about 150hp.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] The dvx 400 has about 30-32hp[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

its cool. So, i think, as soon as i get the cash, im going to buy one... this one guy i know, was trying to convince me to buy a banshee, but, they are ugly, and alot more money. So ive come to the descision o a DVX 400, as soon as i get the cash, should be the end of the summer or so, thanks man

Unless you are just running in wide opes areas like dunes and stuff you would not be happy with a shee. They require alot of clutching and shifting to be ridden on tight trails

I had a dvx wich is a z400 clone. the only diff is the plastic. Great wheeler but the seat was too hard for my soft ***. Sold the dvx and got a raptor 700. You wont be sorry if you buy the dvx.[img]i/expressions/beer.gif[/img]
