That is the only way to find out is to try different settings. However, you can eliminate some of the guess work. Remember (soft is grip, stiff is slide).

Find a place to do testing. You want to make changes and test them on the same turn to be able to compare.

Tires are like mini springs. More air stiffer (slide) they get, less air the softer (grip) they become. Too little air in the front tires will make the sidewalls 'roll-under' you don't want this.

If you go into a turn and it just wants to keep going straight then you know that the front is sliding (loosing grip - stiff) and/or the rear (has too much grip -soft).
If you go into a turn and the front tucks under and/or the rear slides going into the turn. Then you know the front is too soft (too much grip) and/or the rear is too stiff (has too little grip).
You only want to slide (only the rear) when you get back on the gas. Other than that you want the front to turn in and the rear to follow.
If you negotate a turn too fast then both the front and rear should slide together.
Try to position your body and do the same thing (body english so to speak can influence handling) If you lean front or back, left or right it will affect the turn.
To enter a turn you basically want to lean a little forward and toward the turn. Coming out of a turn it is ok to lean a little to the outside and back (this helps on weight transfer to unload the front and to load the rear) - (loading is only a term meaning to move more weight to a location).
