#1
I believe I've found a pretty good deal on a 2006 650cc H1 se, which I'll be picking up tomorrow. Can someone please inform me on what I should be worried about???? I have issues of it being black but it's saving me $1500 versuses buying a 2007, other than that any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Springer - You picked a fine quad. The H1's abundant bottom end torque lets you virtually idle through the nastiest terrain.
I purchased the exact same quad as you are considering and I initially had the same concern about the color. My color preferences were 1st Lime green, 2nd Red, 4th Camo and lastly Black. I was mostly concerned that it would be harder to clean because dark colored mud and dirt would be harder to see. There is absolutely no issue with cleaning whatsoever.
I guess the black color kinda grows on you because I'm looking at the 2008 700 H1 but want to wait until next summer when hopefully it will be offered in other colors including black. The black H1"s are just plain "cool looking" quads.
Good luck. GH

Grouse Hunter, This is one mean looking black machine.
My first choice was the moss green. I do alot of hunting, deer, waterfowl, upland, and moose on occasion, therfore I'll be pushing bush alot with the bike. I was just worried about all the scratches that it will end up with. Then I was thinking am I buying a show bike or an ATV? Scratch the hell out of it thats what its designed for!
I'm also getting 26" Mud Bugs put on. Read some good things about those tires and worse case it will be in the swamp trying to retrieve my moose this fall.
Oh by the way, Ruffed Grouse are the best tasting upland game birds

You'll be extremely happy with that machine, durability of it is great!!!! Has only one downfall,, it handles like a tank!!!!!!!!!! But if your using for mainly hunting purposes, which I use mine for, its the perfect macine!!!! With the scratch problem, use turtle wax spray for plastic F2001... No matter how many scrtches you have that spray makes your bike look like new!!!!!
