i have a 99 500 4x4 the part number for my stator is 3430-011 i found a stator that looks just like mine on ebay and the part number is 3430-045 it is off a 02 500 4x4 auto what is the differance and will it work on mine thanks

 

it may just be a newer part number. call a dealer and see if they match up

Only other thing that I can think of is to get the specs on both and see how they match up. The 02 one just may be an up grade with one component improved.
If the size fits then you could ohm it out and run test on it to see how close the voltage etc are as compared to your 99.
