Default Mushy Cat brakes

buck i'm not talking about hooking you fuel line to the bleeder , what i was talking about is a way to bleed your brake system without having to hold the brake lever to the handlebar grip's while closeing the bleed valve with the other hand ! What i was talking about is taking aclear container , and sitting it between the front wheel's ; then getting a new peice of plastic or rubber fuel line , like the kind they use on weed eaters and small chain saw's ! You place the container next to the wheel you're bleeding the old fluid and air from the brake line's , you pour just enough brake fluid to cover the bottom of the container and enough that the fuel line will be submerged in the container and hook the other end of the new fuel line on the bleeder valve ! And with the bleeder valve in the open position you can slowly squeze the hand brake lever slowly in and slowly out flushing the old fluid and air from the brake line without sucking air back into the brake line and master cyclinder ; you repeat this action 1 , 2 or 3 times at each wheel cyclinder ! And at the same time making sure you don't let the brake fluid in the master cyclinder get to low causing air being sucked back in the line you're bleeding ! The manual states to start at the wheel cyclinder nearest the master cyclinder , whitch is the right front cyclinder ; then the left front cyclinder the job is done ! Unless your quad has the rear reserve master cyclinder like the 2006 and newer ,one's have ! You can even do the job faster with one of these heavy duty mul t dudy vacume pump's , but the cheap one's don't work as good as just using the clear clean container with the fuel line trick !

Yes buck i've followed your reply's to the post's on the forums and i think you get at least 9 out of 10 reply's that i agree with what you're saying man , i think you're a keeper ; and that you more time's right than wrong ! And i do get your humer more time's than not , you seem like the type i would ride the mountain's of north ga. , and the few trip's i've made it to Prentiss cooper in TN. ; but we might have to take out a second or third morage on my home ! Prentiss cooper they say are really strict on the speed limit , you know the type forrest ranger's and be ; but it is a wild game paradice ! wild life, water fall's some gret overlook's of the TN river and waterway's ! If it wasn't so dry up there right now ; and of course the 25 mph speed limit !!! I 've been itching to go try out teleco plain's , a life long freind and a cousin went there ; my cousin tryed it in a ford Bronco he had to turn back ! But the freind went with a group that made the whole trip , said they started at 8 am and got back to vehicles at 8 pm and they didn't touch the surface ! well have a good one guy's think i'll turn in been up almost 48 hour's with these phantom pain's ; later all !......................

The bleeder hose into a partially filled bottle is standard procedure with cars/trucks. A lot easier than trying to hold the lever down, reaching over and tightening down the bleed nipple. I was just wondering if there was a reason this wouldn't work on quad brakes. Apparently, there isn't.

Thanks, guys. DOT4 it is.
