maybe that will change, but i cant wait until aug 1st, start getting back into the ditches, which really confuses me because they want you to stay out for the nesting season but the farmers can cut the grass in the ditches, makes no sense

Yeh, that ditch rule is ridiculous. Just go buy an Ag sticker and you can ride the ditches too, the sticker is like 7 bucks.

i talked to the head DNR of MN and they said it will remain a Class 2 with no ditch riding and only trail riding on Class 2 ATV trails, which to my knowledge done even exist on the trailers i have been on. but thats where it stands right now.

minnesota's dnr is hands down one of the worst dnr assosiations. they seem more anxious to shut down trails and close off area's to ppl then expanding trails and giving the sportsmen and women more trails to enjoy and ride on. mark my words within 10 years all state land which all of us taxpayers own will be shut down to the public where nobody can hunt or even enter it. oh and the 950 looks fun

not only the dnr in minnesota, but these 1 track mind politicians. The legislature will ruin anything they can get there hands on, but maybe not, they get more money for our reg now and why cant they open the luce line trail or even the dakota rail for atv's down in the hutch area, but instead they take our snowmobile and atv reg money so they can talk about paving the luce line. Y thats another joke, snowmobile trails are not for paving, we dont get enough snow the way it is now, put sun on tar in the winter and you have no snow. Glad i sold my sleds last year.

Is the MN dnr going to chase down ATVs to check cc sizes to se if it is an 800 or a 950? What if the Outlander or Brute Force is over bored and it 950 or 1000 cc displacement? Are the going to rip the heads off and do measurements on the trailside? Perhaps 950 AC owners should just put 800 stickers on their machines.

My point is that this is simply ridiculous. Only in the twisted mind of a bureaucrat or frankly government employee like a police officer could they even come up with such a ridiculous notion of enforcing such lunacy. "Well it's the statute!" is the refrain from the trained seals from the parasitic class, "We have to enforce it and do as we're instructed" No, you don't. Use your heads. Use that vaunted "officer's discretion" that is always thrown around as being the be-all and end-all to all problems and ills. In the case of pinheads in who write this silliness and get it written into state code just send out a memo and make a simple alteration for next year. I know it's a novel concept but it's an ATV. Everyone with a brain can see it's an ATV. Don't be so purposely obtuse so as to be an impediment to Liberty. Unless that is your real job. Is it? Hmmmm.

different stickers doesn't make the dnr or bureucrats more tolerable and i am with you boobear it costs so much to ride snowmobiles that mine is going up for sale this fall. i haven't bought a minnesota fishing license in 2 years i go to canada fishing. the only thing they get from me now is my atv license and deer license money.

I have to agree. It is so bad there are different rules & regulations for upper and lower parts of the state.
