For $100.00 I would jump all over those spacers. Mine are HighLifter also, I paid about the same $169.00, absolutely worth every penny.
Yes, invest in a pull start, however I have never had to use mine - but you never know when that odd day will come.
Wise choice to just leave the machine alone for a bit, and as time goes by you will start to determine things that you may want to change - it might be tires, it could be investing into a winch. But yes, the best approach is to wait and when you want to get some thing then check around for peoples opinions, and make a good choice based upon what you want - Then again you could wade through all that and just get my opinion - LOL.. make sure that Chumley approves on my opinion though.. HEHEHE...

Just a side note for tires. The stock OEM can do a decent job if the air pressures are adjusted properly. Then as time goes by you will see what your demands are and then you can look for a specialty tire to get that done. You may find that the stock tires do pretty good - I spent 3 years on mine and basically needed to replace them from wear, so I determined what I wanted to fill my needs of the type of riding that I do and went from there. I am basically a woods rider - 1 to 25 mph 90% of the time. I wanted a machine and tires set up to tackle anything that was ahead on the trail with the highest success rate as possible. I generally will start a ride and my goal is the other end (either a planned ride or just exploring) regardless of what gets in the way, sometimes I will go through, over, under or around, or I will move the obstacle out of the way, but I will attempt to get past.

I do like RockyMountain, I needed a battery yesterday so to speak so I printed the price page for RockyMountain and took it to Walmart to see if they would match the price - which they did - got a $46 battery for the $26.
