Default plows

I am planning on getting a plow for either the 500 cat or the 700 griz
Anyone have good and bad experiences with plows let me know.
any recomendations on brand?

nope..nothing bad. works good w/ a winch, put it on whichever machine is heavier, which I assume would be the grizz, but not sure. Some guys have had problems w/ the cables snapping, but just be carefull not to raise the winch too high (if you have one)........ good luck!

I have used a lot of different plows, they are all good except I didn't like the Swisher due to the set-up, as it lowers your ground clearance to like 6". My favorite is the factory Arctic Cat 60" plow. That is what I am going to get for now on.

I've always had good luck with the cycle country plows. As far as lifting systems don't overlook the manual lift option. I like the manual lift for my gravel drive because it offers more of "feel" of how the blade is contacting and digging into the surface. I found it really helps in keeping the blade running just at the right level and tension to clean the snow without ripping up the gravel. I just couldn't do that with the winch. The "feel" wasn't there.
