I have about 350 miles on her and just recently when I turn left only I hear a knocking noise that sounds like it is coming from the center of the bike. I could not determine if it was front or rear and I took the entire rear suspension and differential out of the machine and inspected everything including tearing down the diff. Nothing out of place, worn or damaged. I started there because I thought the rear was limited slip, but was wrong. I have inspected the front suspension, brakes, ball joints, CV boots, etc... Can't seem to find anything wrong. The puzzling thing is, it only does it while turning left and gets louder the harder left I turn. Does anybody have any knowledge of what this could be? Should I take the front diff. out? Could it be in the clutch? I am lost. I do not have any hesitation to tear into any part of this machine as I can only learn from doing so. Anyone's help is greatly apprieciated.

Is it consistant? My first guess would be the crappy Arctic Cat bushings they use. Doesn't take long for them to slap around.

does it do it in 2 wheel drive or four wheel drive? or both? mine seemed to have done it in 4 wheel drive and i was told its just the differential transferring back and forth to each front wheel. it actually doesnt do it much anymore.

It does it in 2 or 4, diff lock or not and in reverse, and only when turning left. It is a very consistant knock that sounds like it is comming from the transmission at the motor but has to be related to the front end or the front diff. I have also raised the entire quad up off teh ground and run it and it will not make the noise.

Yes the A-arm bushings. WHen the ATV is raised up see if you can feel the slop.
