Yep I took the plunge but now I am starting to think I may have to get a bigger trailer. I will be picking it up on Thursday this week but it won't fit in my 4x8 trailer. I have a Chevy Crew Cab w/Short bed. Will it fit if I leave the gate down? The TRV will have the HD Front/Rear Bumpers on it as well.

Anyone haul one of these with this set-up?

I took the plunge yesterday and dealer had in stock. Got the 08 700 EFI TRV Plus LE. I also have a Chevy Crew Cab w/short bed. I also have a folding bed cover which takes up another six inches when open. The AC TRV fits in the truck ok. I have tried putting it in front first and the back first. The TRV seems to fit better back end first, this gets less weight on the tailgate. Front wheels are about middle of the tailgate. If you do not have a bed cover, should be able to get another five inches in, which would almost get into the truck.

Thanks for the post. I am in the process of removing the camper shell from my truck right now - just took a break to check this forum. That is a heck of a machine you bought, I rode a 700 EFI LE just to try it out. I went with an '07 650 TRV as it was a great deal and to get the no payments, no interest, etc. that they are doing right now. Does your 700 have the HD bumpers as well? Do they add much length to the overall? We plan to take this new machine deer hunting this next weekend so I am anxious to get it. Have fun with your machine. Thanks again, Dave.

 

My TRV does not have the HD bumpers, but they are already on my Christmas List. I was going to get the 650 as it is really enough machine, but in pricing the extra items (installed winch, upgraded wheels and tires, windshield) and the EFI, I decided to get the 700. My dealer made me a fair price for both of us and I have dealt with them for years. They always take care of whatever needs to be done. Machine should be agreat ATV for deer hunting with the ground clearance. I do mostly trail riding, but wanted to be able to haul a passenger around with me if needed.
