Just purchased yesterday a 2008 700 EFI TRV Plus LE. Only have about 2 miles from riding arround the yard. Hope to give a good test ride later in the week. Question - Would you suggest to purchase the extended warranty for this ATV? This is my 4th ATV and only purchased the extended warranty on the 1st one and never used it. Hope to have many years of great trail riding with this ATV as it has everything that I want. Thanks. ab

 

I take it AC no longer has the 3 year warranty?

Cannot find anything in the Owner's Manual about how long the warranty is. My dealer is still finalizing all the paperwork, but he let me take the ATV on Saturday. He just mentioned that it might be good to get.

 

When I bought my 06 500 TRV it came with the 3 year. No charge.
You might want to check with your saleman.

If you check on the Arctic Cat website, in the ATV web page there is an advertisement showing the two US offers and (1) Canada offer. These are sales promotions. Basically in the US you can either choose the free 2,500 lb. Warn winch, OR the 24 month extended warranty OR better financing terms.

The factory warranty is 6 months. The extended warranty is an additional 18 months totaling 24 months. In Canada we have a $50 deductible on any claim in the extended 18 month portion.

As suggested, talk to your dealer.

Talked with my dealer today and my purchase came with warranty for 2 years. Also, got the better financing terms, but plan on having this paid off before the 2 years runs out.

Plan on going riding this weekend to really test out the machine and get it broken in.
