anyone know how to take cv shafts apart for arctic cat 500 i

 

buy a new axle.... a few bucks more, and less work. 180 for complete axle

 

they are easy to take apart.

they just pull out of the differential with a good yank (held in by a lock ring)
once the boots are off. the joints are held on by a snap ring on one side. and a lock ring on the other.

 

Just wondering where you buy your shafts for $180 they seem to be $489 where im from.Managed to get one apart tody thx to all who replyed
