Default Anyone replace master cylinders with non-stock?

I've got some brake issues with my '00 500 Auto. I need to replace most of the hydraulic components (Master cylinders and calipers) and am wondering if anyone has used parts from a different ATV. Or snowmobile, bike, etc. This is mainly a cost issue, as the original parts are quite expensive compared to some of the other (more popular?) Quads out there. At least checking Ebay for parts.

I've been looking at the Wilwood master cylinders from the Arctic Cat snowmobiles. They seem to have the right provision for the brake light switch.

Or how about a rebuild kit - I've seen them at Dennis Kirk for most every application except AC quads. Any other application that would have the same parts as my '00 500.

Thanks for any help,
Steve H.
