Just curious, but I have heard that the AC 500 auto is priced very reasonbly for all that you get. What is the MSRP of the machine and what are some actual purchase prices on it. Thanks.

The MSRP is $6599 I believe, but around here $6300 is the normal price with them going on sale a few times out of the year.

At my local dealer they have a price of $5900 for the auto. Thats with no wheeling or dealing, so you can get it for even cheaper.

The MSRP is like $6599, but granted that is the price suggested by the manufacturer. If you actually pay that much, then you either got a good deal in Canada or paid to damn much in the US. AC's can be found between $5800 and $6100 fairly easily in most parts. If you have somebody giving you the run around, just look elsewhere. DO NOT PAY $6600 FOR IT!

well boys.....im sorry to say this but in good ol' Mississippi, u can get a 01 AC 500 manual for 5699 or cheaper!! i know thats not much of a difference from what other people have posted but if i can save a few hundred bucks...im gonna do that.

P.S. i can get 4 stock rims for 100 bucks or i can get 4 stock rims with 489 titans on them for 150 bucks!!

When I was looking for a cheap way to get another set of rims, the dealer quoted me like $575 for a set of stockers with 489's that they had off some other quad. Uhhh.. NO, I don't think so. That was pretty lame. I ended up getting ITP's. Thats pretty good that you can get that stuff at those prices. I paid like $5500 for my 500 with a winch 2 years ago, but I also was really good friends with the dealer. Manuals are about $5800 here I think. Other dealers charge the MSRP, but they don't exactly sell a whole lot either.

Bill:
Was that the '01 Auto? If so, sounds like you got a pretty good deal there, with the winch and plow! Just curious, what kind of plow did you get?

Anyway, best of luck with the 'Cat and hopefully mother nature will throw some snow your way to put to good use!

Cowboy....
Yes it"s a 01 ...the plow is a 60 inch CMP product.
"Cat is including a Warn 2000 or 2 years extended warranty.Cost for winch is 69 dollars.
For those sitting on the fence it seems that now is a good time to buy.
I plowed 5 inches of wet snow today...much more fun than using a blower..usually I watch the Vikings but today was just to hard to handle!!
