I have an 1999 artic cat 250 2x4 and it won't idle right it idles really high then settles down and dies. When i start it back up it idle real high .Ive replaced the needle valve, diaphram spring ,jet, and it still runs high can anyone help me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

 

i had the same problem with my 250 only it wouldn't die it would just idle real high and then settle back down and after a while idle up again. i rebuilt the carb and it straightened up on mine.

 

thanks I rebuild most of it except the diaphram do they make a rebuld kit

 

yes they make a rebuild kit but i forgot what the brand was. i ordered it from a local atv shop.
