BigCatDriver.....I'd like to ask you how you like your 27" MudBugs. I am picking up my AC500 in three weeks and I am putting 27x10-12 on the front and 27x12-12 on the rear. What size are your Bugs and have they rubbed at all without a lift??

Have you checked out High lifters day Light kit. It fits on the handle bars and looks really good.

Thats the same size he has on his, I think he put the lift kit on at the same time as the tires. But I could be wrong.

I am running the 27x12x12 on teh rear and teh 10' on the frt. They did not rub any in the frt, but even with the lift the rear will rub the exaust. but it has not been a problem...over all I love them they are a great all around tire.

Grizz,
The optima is a awsome battery, Im runnign a Interstate UD-800 which is the Optima Red top " I got it at Wholesale" Due to the construction of the battery it can be mounted any direction it needs to be, If it Cracks open the H2SO4 will not leak out of it. As for reserve power I left my 4 Hella 500's with ProComp 130 bulbs on the jeep on for 5 hours and the YJ fired right up,, The only problem is that it is kinda of expensive "about $140.00" But I love mine.

So, where do you mount this battery? It seems kind of big and heavy to be mounting a car battery on an ATV. How long do you think battery will last running that much power?

i am gonna mount it on the back rack (in the center) i have to admit the battery IS heavy but when i put it on the back rack...it didnt even move....(i was surprised) well i have the same set up on my grizz except i had 2 100 watt lights running off of a 6 or 700 amp battery and i went about 6hrs berfore i needed to charge it (that included a 1,000,000 CP spotlight which ran on the battery to) if it doesnt work out i will have 3 100 watt lights instead of 4 OR i will run 1 100 watt light on the AC battery and 3 on the 1000 amp battery. but if everythign works out...i will run all 4 on the 1000 amp battery..and the battery only cost 50 or 55 bucks. hey BCD i saw that battery in a jeep magazine. i really liked it until i saw the price (HOLY $H!T) i think i will stick with the 1000 amp for 50 bucks battery hehe.i have also had my fan switch installed (it works like a charm) and the temp guage from HL has been installed to (i would recommend this thing to ANYONE who has a liquid cooled engine.

On a good note......i ran the AC for 5 mile with the fan off at on and off speed (ranging from 10-35mph) and the temp only went up to 103! WOW! this AC REALLY runs cool. unlike my grizz that would heat up 3 min after start up. the real task for my AC will come in the summer. (when i have to start trapping) thats when the cat will be running 4-7 hrs a day!! a task my grizz failed miserably. i just hope the CAT doesnt fail me. (im sure it wont but u never know)

PS sorry for any mispelled words
