my 700 efi has a ticking noise at idle when its warmed up it sounds great when its cold dealer says its ok it has done it since new i dont think it is right i have a 500 and it sounds great and thats a suzuki engine i know its not the same engine please give me some advice thanks

 

Have you had the valves adjusted?....Mine does not tick warm or cold..

 

the dealer said they did after i bothered them enough, the bolts holding the rocker cover on looked like the had a allen wrench on them but maybe they were filling me with b.s.

what did you find out? i just bought a used 06 700 efi and i also think it sounds funny

 

its back at the dealer and thier not happy to see it back, but they said they would look at it i will keep you updated when i have an answere

 

thanks ill check back, is yours all stock or do you have mods? just wondering what i should do to it...

 

no mods at all i didn't because of voiding warranty
