I have been looking in the forums and there are different model numbers for the dayco replacement belt. One of the posts said the Dayco HPE 2218 is the best belt for hard trails and mud. Is the belt the same for the AC 650V2 as teh Kawasaki Brute Force 750 as posted on a couple posts? I use my quad for hunting in Alaska, trails, and alot of mud to include muscag. If there is a better aftermarket belt please let me know.
What CDI is reccomended? I have looked at the Dynatek and it says it will remove the rev limiter for the belt. Is that true? Is there any other brands that are better and will do the same thing?
Does K&N make a filter sytem for the 650 V2 or am I stuck with the stock air filter?

Thanks for your help.

as far as air filters it is highly debated that the k&n kets too much stuff through. i personally havent had any issue with k&n with any of my automobiles but have never used one on an atv. you can get a high flow foam air filter which is the best filtration and just as good of flow as k&n try twin air. theres another but i cant remember what the name is right now. and i think the dynatek is the most common used. copperhead is another brand but its highle tunable and some people dont like them because if you dont know what your doing you can really screw your settings up. as far as the daco belts i have heard nothing but bad things about them. i havenet personally used them but alot of guys have blown them off there atv's in 100 miles and no not heavily modded either. for the v2 you can use the kawasaki brute force belt its tighter and is the highest recomendation for the twin. try a clutch kit to help with belt life and low end tourque. and you should run in low as much as possible.

JL i don't know about the CDI but the K&N High Flo Air Filter's were designed for street machines not off road vehicle's , any air filtration system that let's in more air will allow more dust partical's inside the intake and straight into the combustion chamber ; and that's not good for an ATV !

So i would do as rango stated , and get a good Uni Filter , they're really the only good choice after market filter i would ever use on my quad ; there will be others who say different but if you want to give your quad to last i would stick with either the stock filter or the Uni Filter !.........
