I was debating between the 589s and the standard mudlites. I have a 2003 400 ACT and i dont want to rob to much power but id like a good mud and rock tire and i do some road riding but not to much. any suggestions would help

I bought mudlites about 4 months ago... they are sweet compared to the factory tires and are sweet when trail-riding and mud-bogging. Road riding is a little rough... tons of vibration. I also think I impacted my over all performance (speed) with these tires as it seems to have slowed down a little. I do however look forward to the snow and seeing what these thing can do.

Hope this helps.

I bought on ebay from a ebayer by the name of cheaptires.

I read that outlaw MST's are a good tire for all terrain and don't have the vibration that other tires do.They look like a good tire.Plan on buying a set myself. Should also do clutch work if going to larger tires

ITP Terracross would be a good way to go for the kind of riding youre talking about.

Love my Maxxis Bighorns as a great all-around tire.

Still like my swampwitch tires. I went 2 in.s taller and wider. I'm usually playing the tow truck roll pulling people out that get stuck. Kept original rims and tires for really hard pack stuff, things like that...
The itp rims give me 2in. wider on each side wwhich helps in deep mud. you can see them on my pics if you want...

I have Swamplites and they are awesome for mud and rocks.
They don't ride to bad on pavement either.
