I am 70 and my wife is 67. We love ATVing and Snowmobiling and would love to ride in your area. We have ridden in most of the mountainous areas of the Northern United States and we are always looking for new areas. Count us in....!

One of the nice things about being old (if you take care of yourself) is that you can go anywhere, anytime.

By the way, the best area I've ever ridden in is the Black Hills of South Dakota...They're still my favorite.

So why can't snowmobiles and atvs share the same routes and trials ? Merg the 2 and add more ?

I recall that a snowmobile club in St. Helens, Michigan several years ago had a fiasco over ATV's and Dirt Bikes riding on the snowmobile club's trails. Their reasoning was that the dirt riders were destroying their trails. Although some areas allow multi-vehicle usage, the dirters can tear the trails up if they don't use common sense. I have seen this and I somewhat agree with the sledders.

BUT, if we all would use the trail systems with some Common Sense and take care of the trails, we'd all have the best nature has to offer. The problem is that there are both Snowmobile Riders and ATV Riders. These are the ones I consider less that Snowmobilers and ATVers. The riders only care about one thing, and that is "The Moment". They don't consider the continued use of the trail they are on.

Anyone who has been and ATVer / Snowmobiler as many decades as I have can attest to this.

Sorry to use so much space on my opinion, but I had to get it out there. I will always back your efforts for additional trails. Hang in there, RIDE SAFE....!
