i have a 1999 500 auto 4x4 that wont start.
i went for a ride and it was raining like crazy the whole road was moving down hill. lol came back and decided to wash it. i waited for 20 minutes and rode it around are camp and it started to put put, then it died and had to tow it back.
i figured the i had got water in it. so i bought some heat, but havent been able to use it because it wont start now. i took the battery out of a 2003 400 ac and it still didnt start. it acts like there is no battery at all. the lights on the 'dash' dont light up, or the lights. the fuses are not fried. so i dont know what the problem is any of your input would be very appreciated.

hmmm, check where the supply wires go into the fuse box. Might find a bare wire. Happened to me. Check the fuses realy good, and even replace them(especially the ing fuse) Mine would do the same thing. If it has a winch, sometime the factory has been known to link the relay with the main power source (direct link) if the connectors are corroded, it will not pass, past that point causing hte same thing.

 

well thanks for your advice ill have to check it friday when i go back to my prop.

I've seen CDI's go out like that too.. All of a sudden. but check your fuse panel for current with a VM
