Arctic cat parts VS Suzuki parts
#4
I am pretty sure the older AC250's were suzuki engines. My AC 400 is a Suzuki and has it case into the side of the engine. Yours should as well. In fact when I rebuilt the top end of my AC 400 most of the parts came in a bag or box from Suzuki. Even though they were ordered from an AC dealer.
Dealer should have the specs on the valve you are replacing and should be able to tell if its the same as a Suzuki 250.

a while back i had an AC 250 in the shop thats engine was completly horizontal! im not too firmilure with AC's like that, but it was no suzuki engine iv ever seen. that was why i was wondering if all ACs where suzuki engines

I believe Kymco started making the engine for the AC250 and the 300 in 2005 or 2006. I don't know what their engines look like. But, if its a suzuki it usually says it on the cylinder housing.

I was wondering why a dealer in michigan who sell oem parts for both Suzuki and Arctic cat, for example one exhaust valve 40.00$ for cat and 28.00 Suzuki.Does it mean Cat buy from suzuki and markup to make their profits. And my engine is definitely suzuki.

It has alot to do with the Dealership , where i live the local Suzuki Dealer charges 4 times the price that my local Arctic cat Dealer gets for the same parts ; the Honda and Kawasaki Dealers here are the same way on their price for the same parts that i can get from my Arctic cat Dealership !.........
