If you had to choose between the 700 efi or the 650 h1 which would you take and why? lets assume that they are the same price. I am looking at both of these units and not sure which one to get. I live in Fl so cold and elevation will not be a factor. I usually ride in a lot of mud and water so snorkeling may have to happen. Thanks for the help.

well between the 700 and 650 there is only a 2 horsepower difference. not a big difference there. normally id say the 700 but like you said no altitude change, and warm all the time. plus you said you like the mud and for that i think the 650 would be best. If for some chance you mess up the fuel injection on a 700 that would possibly be a pricy thing to have fixed. On the other hand, they make the arctic cat mud pro 700 which is efi so maybe you wouldnt have any problems. personal preference i think. makes more sense to go with the 700 for more power and efi i guess, if they are the same price. Aww hell, get the 700,lol!! I had purchased a 700 this september and i love it. i live in st louis(500 ft ASL) but i took it to wyoming and rode from 4,000 ft to 9,000 ft in 14" of snow and it did awsome.I had no problems at all. it actully did better than my friends 800cc machine( i wont say what brand) but he said he was gonna set his up the same way with a lift and 28" swamplites. My ground clearence is what did the trick. he had...well not enough, he was pushing snow and i wasnt!

just lookin right now i am going to pull the trigger in a few months. I just wanted to get some opinions. I posted a new topic because i was not getting much back from the other one. Thanks for the help and I will write in again once I have found a few that are close in price. By the way do you know what is the standard warranty for AC?

i just got my 2008 700 in september and it was 2year warrenty or a warnc winch. the warrenty is worth more thats why i went with that. Then i bought a 3,000lb winch. I also will be purchasing an extended warrenty for another 3 years. Also,so you dont get a bad price, i paid 6,890. i called everywhere in my area and that was the best. Two of my friends also bought the 700 for the same price the same day as me but at a different dealer. considering the 500cc goes for $67-$6,800 in our area,i think we did a pretty good deal

Having personally owned both...I'd say 700...650 is quicker off the line, but only for about 30 ft..then the 700 passes quickly and never looks back.
