Does anyone know if there was a 700EFI 2-seater made before the 2009 line-up?

I am interested in finding one that doesn't have the "pimp daddy" windscreen and trunk and the fancy paint, and didn't know if the previous year came without all that crap on it.

I want the 700 size for a 2-up, the EFI for the altitude/tuning versatility, and that's all.

Was also thinking that it would be cool to use some Mud Pro parts, like the axles and snorkel, on the 700 2-seater so I could take my sweetie muddin' with me

 

My brother has an '08 AC 700 TRV. It's black plastic. Does have a windscrene but it's easily removable - he only uses it int he winter and leaves it off the rest of the year. Did not come with the rounded trunk but does have the AC quick change rack system. Of course it's EFI - actually a 695cc Susuki motor like in the KQ.

the 400 & 550 EFI are offered in the TRV lineup w/o the rear trunk or LE rims.

THe '09 550H1 EFI is pretty much comparable in terms of overall pwr as l the '08 650H1 carb'd ver. (which I own) and is the CAT motor

Be advised.......It's a BIG/HEAVY machine. 725lbs empty and 92" long - barely fits in a shortbox pickup even w/the tailgate down. I just bought the wife an '09 550H1 EFI single......and it comes in at 670lbs and considerably shorter and 84" , and feels NOTHING like the TRV in terms of handling. - light & nimble with pwr to boot -(which surprised me) - the TRV is ALL torque and handles like an big SUV.

the '08 700 TRV didn't come with any rear trunk/touring windshield either.
