I just got my T Cat yesterday
Other than having 2 noises that I have posted in the other forum thread, I love it
Torque is crazy!
Some complained about he diff lock switch by I dont mind it at all, sure it could be better but its ok with me
Stock tires are JUST TERRIBLE!...I know most are but these are bad!...27's to come...
Trail riding is pretty good...The machine doesnt feel like it wieghs as much as it does, I dont find much difference that my Kodiak 450 that I just traded
The thread with my 2 noise issues is "2009 Thundercat Impressions, Opinions, Thoughts & Info" please check it out!

I am glad you got your t-cat,i think you will be very happy with your bike. I have 27" mud lites on mine and lov'em. I am not sure if you saw my post about the rear diff and the spike load dampener which you will notice when you accelerate hard from a stand still. I got mine welded last week and WOW! what a difference. There is rumour that it will break other rearend parts but if you don't abuse it, it will be just fine. I have played around with mine and have had no problems at all. Again, congrats and i know you will love it!

why does every guy with a thundercat bust out the 188 ft lbs of torque line? you do know that it is impossible for ANY naturally aspirated engine 950cc in size to make 188 ft lbs of torque, dont you? gas or diesel. If it dont have a turbo it doesnt have a chance. 188 ft lbs of torque is only slightly less then what most naturally aspirated 3L v6's make... You think your engine which is only 1/3 the size could do the same thing? seriously? lol... i have a friend who truly thinks his thundercat makes 188 ft lbs of torque at the flywheel. I try to explain to him but he would rather believe the marketing.
Thundercat was smart to market this way buy people need some common sense here... the 188 ft lbs of torque is rated at the transmission input, torque is multiplied by the cvt clutch system.
im not saying one way or another which atv is better and im not trying to hate on the thundercat. just trying to clear up some misnomers.

Although it seems clear you don't dislike or hate any brand of atv i would sure like to know how it is or where you have the literature to say different about the torque of the T-CAT. I t seems you are somewhat rounded when it comes to areas of engines and they're hp/trq ability so that being said i would like to see that for further referance.
