AC 500 auto vs Suzuki500 auto
#2
The Arctic Cat has a way better ride, better tires, and more rack capacity and space.I don't know much about the Suzuki so you will have to ask Gordon or someother Suzuki 500 owner. I do know one thing though, the Suzuki has a better turning radius.

The engines and transmissions are more or less identical. The frame and suspension is the main difference. The arctic cat is better in my opinion because of the strong racks, longer wheel travel in the suspension, and just overall ergonomics. The suzuki will be nimbler at speed and will turn tighter. From what I have read in reviews, the transmission on both is a very good automatic. Seems to be sealed well from water and provides excellent engine braking for steep downhills. The AC also has the braking advantage I believe. I'm not sure but I don't think the quadmaster has disc brakes in the rear. I know the AC does. It also has a hydraulic rear footbrake as well. I don't know about the suzuki's tires, but I know the Titan 489s on the AC are very good stock tires. I would take them over other manufacturers Dunlops any day of the week.
