Default Wiring hand warmers

I am wiring hand warmers on an '04 Cat 500 auto. I am wondering where I will find a good place to tie into the power supply. I would like to be after the key so that I won't drain the battery if I forget to shut them off. I also am wondering about pulling the plastics. I assume that the black pins pull out from the center to release? I have a digital display if that matters. Thanks, all. Also, any brands to avoid/pursue on the hand warmers?

there should be a acc. plug on the main wire harness under the handle bars . take the panel off under the bars, its a two wire plug . I have the AC hand warmers on my 07 500, 08 700, they work great..

should be from the top, couple of plastic rivets hold down the black panel under the bars or they could be screws. I'm checking my rad fluid today I'll take some pic and try to post them
