2003 500i
i have a 2003 artic cat it is getting hard to start. I have had the valves adjusted and new plug. cranks fine but for along time before it will start. any idies. will be wecome

There should be a primer lever on the side of the carb on a 500. It is located on the throttle side of the carb. Try pumping that a few times and trying to start it if you have not done so.
What color is the plug when it does start and run for a bit?
