2000 artic cat 400 problem

it idles fine but backfires when i throttle it

I moved the winch switch and it works fine is the four prong solinoid stock or a add on with the winch

The backfiring sounds like you could have some gunk in the carb that needs cleaning out.

I believe the 4 prong sel. works just the winch and comes with it.
