04' 500 Stator Output

My Brother is wanting to put some 100 watt driving lights on his 500. The dealer didn't know, and AC corp. has not responded.

What is the output of the stator on the 04 500?

Anybody have any tips other than running them thru a relay, and fuse.

I remember a 2001 AC 500 stator my friend had to change was a 350w.

I am not 100% sure about the output of the stator on a 500 but I believe it is like 325watts at the magneto at 5000rpm's.

I have a set of 50watt halogen lights on a custom light bar I connect to the MRP system on the front rack for plowing and I have not had issues. I can tell you they are PLENTY bright enough.
