Default A/C Gauge Pods

I have three 09' 500's and aways problems with the gauge pod. My Prowler seems to work fine all the time. Has any tried using a gauge out of a prowler. I ask the dealer the last time in Anchorage and he just looked at me. Just didn't know

The only things that I think are needed on the gauge pod is the odometer, gear indicator and the trip odometer. One tells you how har you have gone on this trip and hopefully you know how far you can travel before you are out of fuel or what gear you happen to be in. The other keeps an overall record of mileage so you know when to service things.

I used to have a few Yamaha bear trackers that the only gauge was an hour meter I installed so I knew when change the oil.

I also wonder is the sensors for mileage are effected by tire size?

Is the pod for a prowler cheaper?

I wish the odometer worked, the pods burned out. It problely all the taking the thing on and off to thaw the thing out. My snowgo and prowler don't seem to have that problem and they are LCD and analog screens. I thought that if the prowler would work I just get one. The only things I need are temp. and odometer I don't care for the rest.
