What type of ride do you make??? because mud pro is specific to mud.. the gear ans the suspension are specific to mud trail. Compare to thundercat, this one are more for trail, confort and more stable on high speed. The top speed are better than the mud pro.

Welcome to the site!
MUDPRO = 650H1 (carb'd - $8600 US) -700H1 EFI Single ($9900 US)/ low gearing /snorkel/suspention/tire set-up for deep mud purposes. They also offer a 1000H2 EFI in the TRV body ($12000 US)
THUNDERCAT = 1000H2 V-Twin ($11300 US) / "good-god" how fast can I go?/trail-utility purposes
Both machines are directly rider based machines and are pretty much on oposite sides of the spectrum. If your a mudpit runner and like getting into deep water....MUDPRO. If your a trail/utility/speed freek racer.....THUNDERCAT.
Now that being said........it's basically what YOU want to do with it. I've heard of owners using the MUDPRO for trail riding....and the THUNDERCAT for mudd'n.
My advice is to ride both to compare the differences. Find a GOOD dealer locally, and decide just how much you want to spend.

Good luck!
