Default 2008 trv 500

A couple of weeks ago I took the nieces for a quad ride and I think the younger one who was sitting in front, must have hit the digital display hard because the mph is off. The most the quad would get in speed was perhaps 54 mph. Now it show me going like 70 mph and over lol. plus the odometer is really off too. Not sure if I can reset it or have to buy another one. Any suggestions thx robert

actually it was when I first got on it after my daughter was riding the 6yr old on it. I noticed also the the odometer mileage seemed high. I dont trust the fuel gauge completely so I use both that and how many miles driving on the tank to compare. I have to go to work now but how to i check it or change it thx robert

Push the "mode" button - TOP RIGHT on the gauge - till JUST the speedo # is showing. THen push and HOLD the "set" button - LOWER RIGHT - till it changes back to MPH.
