Arctic vs Polaris in the muck

The dealer I originally bought my Cat from charged me like $1 a piece or so for rivets also. I just wanted some extra ones lying around and he charged me a bunch for them. Since I bought my machine, another dealership has opened up closer to home and I now go there for parts and such. I cracked my back mud flap; he ordered me a new one and put it on for $7 - that's what the other guy would have tried to charge me for rivets.
I guess my point is that there is a difference in dealerships. You treat people right and you usually get rewarded. I have sent two people to him to buy Moose plows for their quads and have two other people considering buying AC's from him. What comes around goes around.

Why do the autos always win in the drag race 500 4x4 and in this pull off contest? If all of this infficient power lose lose is going on? http://www.atvconnection.com/atvconn.../nyatvpull.cfm
If they win the drag race and heavy weight pulls how do they come out on top of two totally different types of contests with this massive power lose going on?

Tim1,
Your not getting what I am trying say. The auto setup is nice, but it has allot of downsides to it also. I am saying if you have a engine that turns allot rpms to make its power the design of the cvt system will rob allot of that power. What i mean by allot of Rpm is like 7500rpm's higher. Most atv engines dont rev that high. Atv engines are really outdated compared to what type of fourstrokes you see in other types vehicles. Heck my car right now puts out more power per cc then most fourwheelers thats a sad fact. Just shows to you how far behind the atv world is in technology.
What a cvt system does is make bad riders look good, thats why they are so popular. No offence to you good riders out there on them, but it really does. I used to ride with a guy that had a banshee that was piped. The sad thing
is, my cousin who had worked over blaster could waste him in a race. Was it because my cousins bike was faster,NO. The guy just didnt know how to shift. The guy now has a scrambler 500 and he is allot faster on that then what he was on his banshee, just for the fact that he doesnt know how to shift.
