I have a 06 650 TRV that has starting issues. I leave the ATV at our deer lease. Sometime after it has been setting for a couple of weeks it starts with out issue. Some time it acts like the battery is very weak and has to be jumped off to start. After it starts sometime it starts all weekend - sometime not.

This weekend it had to be jumped to start. We ran it about an hour and it started again that night and first thing the next morining. I drove it about 200 yards and let it set for about 15 min. It would not start, acting like a weak battery. After it set for about 2 hours it started fine and did so all day. Same drill on Sunday am. This time we jumped it to get to start and then did fine untill we left at noon.

Any ideals?

check your battery connections,maybe coming loose and makes good contact sometimes and not other times. Could also be just a weak battery.

 

just went through that problen with my king quad, put a new battery in just fine now . batteries get a monery in them and wont completely charge

 

New battery fixed it right up. Used in for the last 10 days and never had a problem. Thanks all.
