water pump help

Default water pump help

04 500 auto trv, over heats after a little while, opened rad. cap, coolant appears to NOT be moving. thinking water pump is bad. any ways to check water pump? and if its bad am i better off buying new pump or rebuild? also any tricks to replacing or is it pretty straight forward? any ideas or advice welcomed. thanks a bunch all.

leave cap off start it and run it till fan comes on, may have an air bubble, if fan doesnt come on may be fan or thermal switch bad

Does your raditor have mud and dirt in the fins of raditor.If your fan does not come on check the fan fuse
